AV Engineer

To be responsible for overseeing assigned projects, especially audio visual (AV). This includes planning, execution, supervision, and ensuring proper completion and handover of the projects.

1. Project Planning and Operations

a) To work closely with Management in undertaking duties required for projects. This includes but is not limited to:

1. Spearheading AV initiatives and providing inputs required for project procurement;
2. Offering plans and layout advice for projects;
3. Assisting in procurement of AV hardware and software, ensuring needs of the projects are adequately prepared;
4. Planning, maintaining, and monitoring project timelines, timely intervention, as well as storing & transporting of equipment;
5. Performing rack & stack, onsite installation, upgrading of devices/software, troubleshooting and repair of AV equipment, networking, and other in-house projects at customers’ premises;
6. Completing electrical wiring and trunking, programming, and basic construction of set-up (use of ladder may be required);
7. Managing, testing, and commissioning of CCTV, ELV equipment, Bluetooth devices, and other required devices;
8. Ensuring all testing, configuration, staging, and upgrading of the projects assigned are completed on schedule.

b) To provide before, during, and after project services;

1. Liaising with client(s) on the requirements;
2. Conducting quality control analysis prior to the event;
3. Diagnosing and resolving technical issues, both hardware and software, when required;
4. Attending to service calls related to equipment breakdown;
5. Providing onsite support and training to users at end-user’s premises;
6. Ensuring production and updating of documentation such as user guides, etc.;
7. Following up with finance on costing & billing.

2. Other Relevant Duties

1. Assisting Management in any other projects of the Company when required, e.g., cabling, etc.;
2. Performing any other relevant duties when required.

Salary commensurate with experience.
