Automotive Technician

Responsibilities

To inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of vehicles, ensuring they are in safe and optimal operating condition. Here are the details, including but not limited to:

1. Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
2. Perform basic maintenance such as oil change, filter change, tire change, and fluid services.
3. Able to perform maintenance and repair on the air conditioning.
4. Follow strict safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries in the workshop.
5. Use specialized diagnostics and tools to troubleshoot and pinpoint the root causes of problems.
6. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs, cost estimates, and addressing customers' questions and concerns.
7. Test-drive vehicles after repairs to ensure proper functionality.
8. Specialize in specific areas of automotive repair if applicable.
9. Carry out servicing as tasked by Supervisor & adhere to the servicing duration.
10. Support recovery.
11. Carry out troubleshooting on electrical portion.
12. Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Work Experience

• Diploma/Higher NITEC in automotive. Minimum 1 years' experience in the automotive industry.
• Prior experience in the automotive servicing line (Preferred)
• Valid class 3 & 4 driving license

Location: Around Singapore

The candidate shall be assessed based on their years of experience and technical capabilities to determine the overall compensation package and seniority.
