As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Inventory & Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team.

Position Overview:
As an Automotive Inventory Clerk, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management system. You will be responsible for overseeing the purchases of our vehicle inventory, as well as maintaining accurate records of inventory levels. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the automotive industry.

IN ADDITION, as an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely payments to our vendors and suppliers. You will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling statements, and assisting in various accounting tasks under the guidance of the finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory using inventory management software.
  2. Coordinate with the sales and service departments to ensure accurate tracking of vehicle movements.
  3. Maintain accurate records of vehicle inventory being purchased from auctions, private purchases, and other dealerships.
  4. Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
  5. Verify and reconcile invoices with purchase orders and receipts.
  6. Prepare and perform payment runs in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  7. Maintain vendor accounts and ensure all records are up-to-date.
  8. Perform any and all other job duties that may arise that are crucial for this position.

Qualifications:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Proven experience in accounts payable or a general accounting role is preferred.
  3. Previous experience in automotive inventory management or a related field is preferred.
  4. Proficiency in inventory management software is a plus.
  5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  6. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Knowledge of automotive makes and models is desirable, but not required.
  10. Aptitude for problem-solving.
  11. Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices is preferred.
