Automation Technician (up to 4.5K with basic + allowances)

Job Description:

• MNC manufacturing environment and Perm role
• Rotating Shift - 12 Hours
• Up to 4.5K with Basic+ Transport allowance ($250) + Fixed Shift allowance ($250) + Shift Allowance (Day is $20 and night is $52) + Flexi Benefit + Transport provided + AWS
• Work in Tuas with Transportation at Locations including Bedok/Paya Lebar, Sengkang, Choa Chu Kang, Woodlands, Jurong and Boon Lay
• Stable work environment and progression

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance (corrective, preventive, predictive) and the troubleshooting support of plant Manufacturing Control System in Wet and Dry Process, Dry Blending and Packaging Areas in compliance with the Site Safety and GMP procedures in 12-hrs rotating shift.
• Responsible to support any system projects being executed internally or by vendors. Manage and lead contractor, vendors and service providers to perform maintenance works.
• Familiar with PLC control component, ability to carry out hardware replacement and minor software modification.
• Good knowledge on field bus system (Profibus DP/PA, DeviceNet, IO Link) will be a plus.
• Experience in Packaging system: ABB Robotic, B&R automation will be a plus.
• Able to interpret Electrical drawings and P&ID diagram.
• Take part in continuous improvement efforts/projects.

Requirements:

• ITC/Nitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma from Control/Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics/Instrumentation Engineering or related disciplines.
• 2 years of experience working in manufacturing facility is preferred.
• Strong knowledge in control system.
