Automation Engineer (Marine Industry)
Job description

Responsibilities
- Stay-by onsite deployment based on Customer requests
- Adhere to service requests on date & time, location, scope of work and any other instructions
- Troubleshoot and inspect findings to determine source of problem, rectify or replace with Customers' agreement
- Escalate any issue beyond the service scope to responsible CS team/management
- Ensure Customer is briefed on worked performed and service report is prepared and signed off by Customer
- Ensure service work rendered complies with internal Service & Support processes
- Ensure compliance to Code of Business Conduct and Quality Management system requirements
- Support projects or other technical jobs required
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years working with marine Navigational and IT equipment
- Minimum diploma in electrical engineering or other relevant technical education / qualifications with relevant experience
- IT/Networking experience or qualification
- Team player with good interpersonal skills
- Able to travel on short notice
- Able to work under tight timelines
- Able to work independently
- Highly-effective technical communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Interact professionally and deliver solutions to customers during the work execution
