Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Perform configuration and system maintenance on the DCS and SIS.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems during project startup, maintenance, and production issues.
• Design, program, and modify algorithms, graphics, displays, interlocks, and calculations.
• Provide technical expertise on the latest trends in DCS and Safety systems, field instrumentation, and electrical equipment.
• Act as the focal point for all Automation systems.
• Maintain and administer facility quality, safety, and environmental programs/processes.
• Provide technical assistance and oversight for E&I maintenance and technical changes.
• Train Maintenance and Operations staff on automation processes or equipment changes.
• Identify and implement cost savings and safety improvements.
• Assist with production-related improvements or troubleshooting.
• Provide cost estimates and engineering support.
• Plan, estimate, design, construct, startup, and manage plant projects related to DCS and Safety systems, instrumentation, and electrical systems.
• Coordinate maintenance and training for the PIMS system.
• Coach and train plant E&I engineers and E&I engineers.
• Take on E&I on-call engineer duties as scheduled.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Process Controls, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in DCS engineering activities in the chemical or petrochemical industry.
• Extensive knowledge of petrochemical/Oil & Gas plant DCS and SIS, with preference for experience in Yokogawa and Siemens systems.
• Open-minded and team-oriented.
• Strong communication skills and adaptability to cultural differences.
• Ability to prioritize safety, quality, productivity, and environmental concerns.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP, and other relevant software.
• Experience with technical drawings such as P&ID’s, electrical and instrument drawings, and equipment manuals.
• Willingness to attend internal and external training, potentially abroad.
• Ability to assist with 24/7/365 operations and be on-call as needed.
