Responsibilities:
Responsible for automation engineering systems & processes per safety and performance standards to build products.
Establish performance & quality criteria via validation (IQ, OQ and PQ) by FEED (Front End Engineering Design), testing, installation, commissioning & handover for production.
Work closely with internal team for technical solution, design experiment, validation, qualification procedure & check list to ensure products meet governance, company & customer requirements.
Create testing protocol, run test for concept approval, analyze results, update activity logs & document results.
Monitor compliance with safety and quality regulations.
Calibrating and repairing machine & equipment.
Participate in cross functional team for product failure root cause analysis and automation system Continuous Improvement.
Design new machines & auxiliary equipment maintenance procedures, check list & work instructions, provide training for operation & maintenance staffs.
Collaborate with internal and external process FMEA and Machine qualification.
Collaborates with suppliers and in-house complete all FAT and SAT requirements within the delivery date.
Perform Lean principle (5S, Gemba-walk, 5-why and B&A suggestion improvements).
Submit and Follow-up qualification with QA and Production staff.
Any other duties as and when assigned.
Take reasonable care of workplace health and safety; abide by all EHS policies and procedures; cooperate with Management and colleagues in EHS initiatives.
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree of Engineering in Automation / Mechatronics / Mechanical / Electrical or equivalent.
Previous 3-6 years experience as a validation engineer or in a similar role.
Experience in project management.
Strong understanding of automation engineering system design concept & development, manufacturing processes and safety regulations.
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills. Attention to detail.
Knowledge of statistical software analysis (e.g., MINITAB, MATLAB).
Well versed in Microsoft office tools (Excel/ Word / Power point).
Have knowhow in Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis (PFMEA) and CPK study.
Leadership, ownership, team player, self-motivated.
Attention to details and eager to learn new technology.
