Audit Senior / Associate

Our client "Joe Tan & Associates PAC Chartered Accountants" is seeking an Audit Senior / Associate to join their team!

What you'll be doing?

• Lead audit engagements: Plan and execute external audit projects for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring compliance with professional standards and firm procedures.
• Collaborate with clients: Interact with client management to audit financial data, identify risks, and suggest areas for improvement.
• Mentor junior staff: Supervise and coach junior team members, helping them develop their skills and grow professionally.
• Deliver insightful reports: Prepare comprehensive audit reports and presentations, effectively communicating findings and recommendations to clients.
• Stay current: Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations, standards, and best practices, ensuring team compliance.
• Drive improvement: Contribute to the firm's continuous improvement initiatives by proposing and implementing process enhancements.

Who are they looking for?

• Experienced professional: Ideally, you have 2+ years of post-qualification experience in external audit, preferably from a reputable accounting firm. However, entry level is welcome to apply.
• Technical expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, auditing standards, and financial reporting requirements is essential.
• Analytical thinker: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically, identifying risks and opportunities.
