Responsibilities:

  1. Carry out audit procedures in accordance with the audit plan and SSAs.
  2. Prepare draft financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
  3. Strong technical expertise in audit and assurance methodologies and techniques, with a preference for those with international and Singapore client experience.
  4. Manage audit engagements, including initial engagement planning, analysis of controls and processes, preparation and review of audit documentation and management letters and reports, and monitoring of engagement process against budget and timeline.
  5. Develop and maintain long-term client relationships and identify business development opportunities.
  6. Coach and develop team members to achieve technical competencies and efficient performance.
  7. Familiarity with regulatory and reporting requirements.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations affecting the business.
  9. Cultivate an engaging work environment that promotes a shared commitment to excellence for achieving the firm’s quality, client service, people, and financial objectives.

Requirements:

  1. Degree in accounting/finance or equivalent professional qualifications.
  2. Holding relevant professional certifications, such as CA (Singapore), ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, etc. is an added advantage.
  3. Minimum of 4 years experience in external audit and assurance, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.
  4. Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with team members, including those across departments, and clients.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  8. Knowledge of software like Caseware, Python, and UiPath will be an advantage.
  9. Knowledge of MAS compliance requirements for financial institutions, excluding bank and insurance, is an added advantage.
