Asst Manager / Manager (Accounting)

We are looking for a dynamic team player Accountant (Asst / Manager), who will lead the Accounting/Finance & HR/Admin. This role offers great independence by working across various team members to support the growth plans of the company. This role will be working closely with management for various aspects of strategy and growth.

Job Description

1. Responsible for full set of accounting & finance related responsibilities.
2. Some production accounting experience for costings purposes would be advantageous. Highly suitable for accountants looking for production related experience as well as looking to develop leadership skills.
3. Basic consolidation and reconciliation of accounts, prepare accurate and timely month end closing reports and necessary schedules.
4. Some HR, IT and Administration experience will be coupled with the role and able to think strategically to work with the team and the Director to formulate growth plans for the company.
5. Work closely with external auditors, bankers, regulators, and stakeholders.
6. Able to work independently and translate various business functions into an evolving accounting view, like investments to cash flows, inventory, and production related overviews.
7. Strategic thinking with a team player attitude and be the expert of the Microsoft Navision system and develop relevant users including production modules.

Job Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's degree / Professional Degree in Accountancy and a great passion for reconciling accounts and analyzing financial transactions. Must have leadership abilities and a desire to grow and support a team in a global business environment.
2. At least 5 years of direct working experience in the related field is required for this position. Excellent Excel skills and the ability to create production costing models for budgeting & forecasting.
3. Experience in Administration & HR or sourcing and generating POs for purchasing will be a high advantage, otherwise a strong willingness to gain knowledge, especially in the HR scope of a production-oriented organization.
4. High proficiency in Microsoft Navision is preferred, with the ability to operate accounting information systems efficiently and effectively. Must be able to be a lead user of the system and guide supporting colleagues on financial elements.
5. Participate in budgeting/forecasting activities and provide accurate and timely tax/financial reports to relevant authorities.
6. Great attitude, team player personality to be groomed for leading expertise, well-organized multitasker, fast learner with great attention to detail, and a pleasant personality to work across a young team. Other ad-hoc duties as required with an entrepreneurial spirit to take on new tasks and challenges.
