Job description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with customers, peers, and vendors to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Supervise the Customer Service Team, mentoring members to enhance overall performance.
  • Monitor and achieve customer KPIs and initiatives
  • Understand and perform trade and customs-related processes.
  • Lead strategic cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing freight and warehousing processes, as well as digitalisation and workflow improvement initiatives.
  • Stay updated on regulatory requirements for trade and logistics by liaising with Singapore Customs and officers.
  • Monitor and evaluate invoicing processes to optimise efficiency and accuracy in Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payable.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in shipping, freight forwarding, or supply chain management, at least 2 years in people management
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and process optimisation.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and willingness to learn new technologies.
