Asst Finance Manager, GL ($6500)

Job Content

1. Ensure that accounting for monthly / quarterly / yearly closing are completed on time and accurately
2. Review monthly closing TB and sign off for reporting submission
3. Prepare / Review monthly closing journal
4. Review accounts reconciliations and schedules
5. Review monthly bank reconciliation for sign-off and follow-up
6. Control chart of a/c, review consistency, control a/c creation and archive
7. Assist FM in annual policy renewal review
8. Ensure compliance to accounting standards
9. Audit review support (External and GCAD review)
10. Annual Statutory Accounts, XBRL
11. Provide assistance and research correct treatment
12. Review and submit GST quarterly returns
13. Prepare / Review tax & deferred tax computation for accounting provision
14. Finalise corporate tax computations for review by HO and tax consultants
15. Continuously review processes to ensure that controls are in place
16. Recommend and implement new controls where necessary
17. Provide financial analysis for new projects / purchases
18. Review government tender submissions for financial requirements (bankers guarantees, working capital)
19. Preparation and finalization of budget and forecasts
20. Provide assistance to reporting team to formulate budget and forecasts

Job Requirement

1. Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACCA)
2. More than 5 years of relevant working experience in accounting
3. Good Excel skills
4. Able to work in fast-paced environment
