The Assistant Chief Concierge manages Concierge team members in order to provide special assistance and information about local area attractions to guests and patrons, offering a wide selection of choices and alternatives to ensure guest satisfaction in line with Hilton and hotel policies and procedures.

What will I be doing?

As the Assistant Chief Concierge, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

1. Develop all luggage related procedures and ensure that they are well followed by the Concierge and Bell team members.
2. Responsible for the proper and efficient functioning of the Concierge and Bell section, maximizing guests’ satisfaction.
3. Coordinate and ensure timely delivery and collection of guests’ luggage.
4. Supervise and guide the team in the absence of Chief Concierge to ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to.
5. Ensure proper reception of Hilton Honors members as well as other guests at the airport on both arrival and departure.
6. Familiar with hotel operating system especially OnQ PM, Kipsu, HotSOS, and/or table management system.
7. Give recommendations to hotel operations when opportunities arise to improve services, increase revenue or reduce costs.
8. Oversee a record of short term and long term storage, follow up when it’s necessary.
9. Ensure that all Concierge and Bell team members adheres to grooming standards set by the hotel.
10. Thoroughly familiar with all emergency procedures, ensuring the safety of all hotel employees and guests at all times.
11. Set team goals in consultation with team members according to hotel / department goals, policies and practices.
12. Maintain good personal presentation, adhering to hotel and Hilton standards.
13. Ensure that all reporting and servicing deadlines are met on a timely basis.
14. Adhere to the hotel’s security and emergency policies and procedures.
15. Understand the local tourism culture and city profile to provide considerate service to guests.
16. Carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

1. Secondary School education and above.
2. At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory level in Concierge operation.
3. Fluent in English to meet business needs.
4. Appreciate Hilton’s culture.
5. Good character and ethics.
6. Strictly obey the relevant laws and regulations, internal policies and implementations.
7. Strong sense of principle, professional management ability, a good team player, excellent interpersonal skills, sense of decency, honest and reliable.
8. Have a strong sense of responsibility and learning ability.
9. Hotel management experience preferred but not required.
10. Member of the Golden Key Association - Les Clefs d’Or preferred.
