Associate ULD Management

Job Description

The successful candidate will join the Cargo Operations & Unit Load Device (ULD) Management department in SIA Cargo Division. He/She will manage the Aircraft ULDs for the entire SIA Group (SIA, SIA Cargo, and Scoot) to ensure that systemwide passenger and cargo operations requiring ULDs are fully supported at all times.

Key Responsibilities

1. ULD Management

• Manage the flow of SIA and foreign ULDs within the SIA network, ensuring station requirements are met.
• Liaise with other airlines regarding courtesy carry of ULDs for network rebalancing.
• Monitor and ensure timely return of ULDs.
• Coordinate excess ULD stock returns by tracking station holdings and sending reminders.
• Maintain tracking records for End of Lease (EOL) units and HMA movements with all relevant stakeholders.
• Manage ULD status, inventory, and ICMS (system) issues in iCargo, including tracking, troubleshooting, and escalation of system errors. Coordinate ULD consumables requests with all relevant stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to stations on using the iCargo ULD module and queue editing processes.
• Conduct ULD audits at appointed vendor premises when required.
• Arrange repairs for damaged ULDs with authorized repair facilities, ensuring compliance with technical specifications.
• Manage and troubleshoot reports.
• Prepare Loss/Recovery Reports by identifying ULDs with nil movement and conducting investigations.
• Raise Purchase Orders/Goods Receipt in SAP/ARIBA for the department.
• Oversee the ops email inbox, ensuring all emails are attended to promptly.
• Other ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

2. Administration Support

• Verify and process invoices for Maintenance Repair Overhaul (MRO) services, vendors, and operational expenses.
• Ensure invoice documentation is complete, discrepancies are resolved, and records are stored systematically.
• Assist with financial reporting, including accruals and budgeting activities.
• Reconcile duty shift rosters and process transport claims via Kronos system.
• Verify and process staff expense claims through SAP Concur.
• Process applications for Seasonal Airport Passes, troubleshooting any issues related to work permits or contract validity.
• Apply for and manage ad-hoc airport pass letters.
• Maintain accurate documentation of ULD-related technical records and asset disposal applications.
• Provide support for ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

• A diploma in any discipline.
• Self-driven learning attitude.
• Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable with making decisions and taking up responsibilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Applications (Excel/Power Automate) will be advantageous.
• Experience in airport / cargo / ULD operations and technical knowledge is preferred.
• Knowledge of iCargo ULD module, related equipment, ULD repair, maintenance, and support services will be advantageous.
