Associate, Trade Finance Operations

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing of trade finance transactions, including LC advising, LC issuance, and document handling.
• Communicate with clients regarding documentary aspects of trade transactions.
• Perform accounting entries, reconciliation, and prepare reports for trade finance operations.
• Verify compliance of trade documents with LC terms and conditions.
• Administer and maintain documentation related to trade finance activities.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and system implementations.
• Handle other ad hoc tasks as assigned.

Key Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in trade finance operations, preferably in Banks.
• Work experience in managing import & export transactions and familiarity with trade finance standards (UCP600, ISBP, URC, URR, Incoterms).
• Detail-oriented, with knowledge of AML/CFT regulations related to trade finance.
