What impact can you make in this role?

You will play a critical role in implementing GIC’s investment framework, policy changes, top of the house strategies and total portfolio rebalancing. This role is responsible for execution of top of the house changes, ensuring alignment with business goals, processes, and enterprise initiatives. In addition, this role is also responsible for business product management of platforms that impact total portfolio ecosystem.

We are looking for an Associate for a 2 year's contract to join our Total Portfolio Rebalancing Services team.

What will you do as an Associate, Total Portfolio Rebalancing Services (Contract)?
  • Manage benchmark onboarding, working with internal stakeholders and external data vendors and counterparties.
  • Perform benchmark data operations, investigate and resolve data exceptions and data quality issues independently.
  • Handle operational and non-routine queries/request from business users in a professional and timely manner.
  • Develop, implement and maintain controls and workflows to ensure quality and timeliness of data.
  • Establish strong rapport and engagement with business users and internal/external stakeholders to better anticipate and address their needs.
What qualifications or skills should you possess in this role?
  • Degree in Finance, Business, or related fields with minimum 2-4 years of relevant working experience in index onboarding and data management.
  • Possess good knowledge of financial instruments and markets. An additional qualification like CFA will be considered favourably.
  • Experience with data providers such as Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, Markit and others would be preferred.
  • Passion for data and process-oriented analysis with strong analytic and business diagnostic skills.
  • Meticulous and detail oriented, with rigor for thoroughness and controls.
  • Strong data / analytics capabilities (ideally with some coding experience).
  • Strong learning agility with the ability to “connect the dots”.
  • Self-starter with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Team player with the willingness to take on new challenges in a fast-paced and changing environment.
