We are seeking a motivated and talented Zero Trust Security Engineer with a background in Zero Trust and endpoint security to join our team. As a Zero Trust Security Engineer, you will assist in designing, implementing, and maintaining our Zero Trust architecture and framework while also playing an important role in ensuring endpoint security across our organization.
Responsibilities:
Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive Zero Trust architecture and framework, incorporating endpoint security solutions to enhance overall security.
Assist in the implementation of strategies for endpoint security, including antivirus/anti-malware protection, endpoint detection and response (EDR), data loss prevention (DLP), vulnerability management, and secure configuration management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Zero Trust principles and endpoint security solutions into various infrastructure components, systems, and applications.
Assist in the implementation and configuration of endpoint security tools, ensuring proper monitoring, detection, and response capabilities.
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and trends in Zero Trust, endpoint security, and related technologies, and assist in evaluating their applicability to the organization.
Collaborate with external vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to evaluate, implement, and manage endpoint security solutions.
Provide support and assistance to IT and security teams for the successful implementation and operation of Zero Trust principles and endpoint security solutions.
Contribute to the documentation of the Zero Trust architecture, endpoint security implementation, and maintenance processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Knowledge of Zero Trust principles, methodologies, and technologies, as well as a basic understanding of endpoint security solutions.
Familiarity with endpoint security tools and technologies, including antivirus/anti-malware solutions, EDR, DLP, vulnerability management, and secure configuration management.
Basic understanding of network security concepts, protocols, and technologies.
Demonstrated interest or experience in endpoint security through coursework, projects, or internships.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly.
Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Endpoint Security Associate (CESA), or similar certifications, are a plus.
