Associate Quality Engineer

As an Associate Quality Engineer, you will ensure effective quality control, continuous improvement, and adherence to the Zero Defects Philosophy throughout the end-to-end value chain.

Your main responsibilities:

• Benchmark quality control in production to develop internal work processes and improvement handling to ensure quality assurance.
• Analyze process weaknesses and quality performance data, and work with internal departments (including external suppliers) on quality improvement plans.
• Create, review, and update inspection SOPs, inspection checklists, control plans, or special inspection instructions when needed.
• Coordinate with upstream and downstream process departments/teams on quality-related issues.
• Provide timely responses to customer complaints, including root cause analysis, facilitate containment, and initiate improvements.
• Ensure that the department is prepared for internal and external quality audits.
• Initiate quality checks when needed and resolve system integrity issues wherever possible.
• Handle product recalls, delivery stops, and rework processes in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Administer documents relating to group standards and ensure timely implementation and awareness of relevant standards.
• Monitor engineering change management to ensure proper process handling from both internal and external suppliers.
• Organize calibration for measuring tools.
• Review product warranty from the FAS and promote improvements with the team.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required.

Your Background:

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience.
