Description
The Private Capital Fund Performance Team is responsible for overseeing the collection, validation, analysis and dissemination of Closed-Ended Fund Performance data. Therefore, ensuring Preqin’s Platform provides great coverage of timely, quality, and robust data on alternative assets.
What you’ll be doing:
- Data Validation: Validate and log performance data in accordance with Preqin’s reporting guidelines, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the closed-end fund performance dataset.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct various quality checks across profiles such as data entry quality checks for offshore teams and systematic checks to identify potentially suspect figures.
- Providing Global Support: Action on incoming queries, feedback and complex data requests via JIRA and other workflow streams from other departments such as Client Services and Sales, stepping in on client calls when required.
- Regional Subject Matter Expert: Serve as the primary point of contact for all Closed-End Fund Performance-related queries within your assigned region, developing a strong knowledge of the dataset and inner workings of the database and how it translates onto the platform.
- Data Collection: Conduct web-research to ensure accurate and timely data collection from online sources.
- Content for Reports & Publications: Oversee and produce high-quality analysis for research reports, publications, blogs and presentations.
- Processes & Workflows: Identify and implement workflow improvements using tools like Alteryx, SalesForce & Outreach.
- Contributing to Ad-hoc projects: Contribute to ad-hoc projects across the team to help improve data coverage, quality and processes.
- Regional initiatives: Support regional initiatives and projects to enhance both the dataset and Preqin’s brand within the region.
What you’ll bring to us:
- A strong understanding of internal performance processes and workflows.
- Experience in answering client data requests & queries.
- Experience in contributing high quality content for research reports, publications and presentations.
- A strong understanding of performance reporting and the alternative assets industry.
- A proactive approach, taking initiative to improve existing processes/workflows and suggest ideas to improve data coverage, quality and/or timeliness.
- Exemplary past performance.
