Prepare credit reviews, credit applications, waiver requests, and borrower ratings with recommendations, adhering to the Bank’s internal guidelines and credit appetite.
Identify risks and monitor/report on borrower and project conditions, escalating to appropriate departments when necessary.
Manage the overall risk profile of borrowers and recommend changes to mitigate risks.
Support refinancing and potential work-out transactions as required.
Assist in negotiating waiver terms and amendment documents.
Collaborate on secondary loan transfers and loan participation.
Prepare regular reports, including credit conditions, action plans, stress tests, sector monitoring reports, and presentations to management or credit committee.
Coordinate internal and external audits or regulatory inspections.
Support the HOD in operations, administration duties, and team events, providing backup support for team members as needed.
Adhere to company policies, including KYC and compliance requirements.
Maintain and update local credit policies to align with regulations.
Identify industry, economic, and sector trends that could impact the portfolio.
Support AFD team on operational matters and prepare internal reports related to AFD transactions.
Financial
Support timely process improvement initiatives for the Team.
Assist AFD team for origination and execution of deals, collaborating closely with respective MUFG Branches and other Head Office divisions.
Customer
Deliver high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders to enhance the Bank's reputation.
Liaise with customers, agents, external consultants, auditors, regulators, and others to ensure timely performance of Team functions.
Work in partnership with origination teams, relationship managers, credit teams, and other departments to support transaction responsibilities.
People
Liaise with various departments and collaborate with GAFO as a global aviation team.
Other/ Control
Comply with relevant MAS regulations and MUFG group policies.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in credit analysis or credit risk (in Structured Products financing or Corporate Banking).
Experience in lending and repayment schedules.
Intermediate Excel skills.
Degree qualified.
Experience in reviewing and preparing credit application recommendations and legal documentation.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication, presentation, and writing skills.
Proactive, resourceful team player with the ability to build rapport with internal and external parties.
Good understanding of banking products and associated risks.
Knowledge of credit risk, financial analysis, and financial modeling.
Familiarity with financing documentation and legal considerations.
In-depth sector knowledge in aviation financing is an advantage.
