Job Responsibilities:
- Strategic
- Prepare credit reviews, credit applications, waiver requests, and borrower ratings in accordance with the Bank’s internal guidelines and credit appetite.
- Identify risks, monitor borrower status, and report on project conditions.
- Manage overall risk profile and recommend changes to mitigate risks.
- Support refinancing and potential work-out transactions.
- Assist in negotiating waiver terms and amendments.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports related to the portfolio.
- Coordinate internal and external audits or regulatory inspections.
- Support the HOD in operations and administrative duties.
- Adhere to company policies and guidelines.
- Maintain and update local credit policies.
- Identify industry trends that impact the portfolio.
- Support AFD team on operational matters relating to origination execution of deals.
- Financial
- Support timely process improvement initiatives for the Team.
- Customer
- Deliver high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with customers, agents, and regulators to ensure timely performance.
- Work in partnership with various internal teams to support transaction responsibilities.
- People
- Liaise with various departments and collaborate with GAFO as a global aviation team.
- Other/Control
- Comply with relevant MAS regulations and MUFG group policies.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in credit analysis or credit risk.
- Experience in lending and repayment schedules.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Degree qualified.
- Experience in reviewing and preparing credit application recommendations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills.
- Proactive and resourceful team player.
- Good understanding of banking products and risks.
- Familiarity with financing documentation and legal considerations.
- In-depth sector knowledge in aviation financing is an advantage.
