KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and Development:
Assist mechanical engineering on preliminary assessment and support class 3 change kit development project.
Develop mechanical 2D fabrication drawing & assembly drawing using SolidWorks software.
Testing and Validation:
Support Design Qualification (DQ) testing to ensure designs meet technical specifications and performance standards.
Project and Proposal Support:
Create Material Masters (MM) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) documents & generate Bill of Material, Traveller/checklist, etc., documentation to support NPI.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production operations.
Document support such as FAI request, ECR/ECN/EAN.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
Education:
Mechanical Engineering Diploma or a related field.
Additional certifications in CAD software – SolidWorks, or mechanical design are a plus.
Experience:
Relevant work experience is a plus; however, fresh graduates are welcome to apply!
Skills & Competencies:
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks (this is a must).
Basic understanding of mechanical design principles, concept, stack tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to interact directly with co-workers via face-to-face, conference calls, emails, etc., to review and update.
Self-motivated individual who is action/results oriented, independent and flexible, with a passion for developing technical skills.
