Key Responsibilities

Management of Cash accounts:
  • Ensure sufficient liquidity for daily trade settlement.
  • Oversee daily operation payment.
  • Oversee revenue collection from accounts receivables.
Management of Investment Accounts which includes:
  • Reconcile trade postings, billing, and receipting of trailer revenue and bank balances.
  • Oversee posting of business accruals and expenses.
Special Projects:
  • Oversee design and development of financial accounting hub for new trading platform.
  • Review design of financial accounting hub and test results.
  • Design new accounting and operational processes to support development of new platform.
  • Provide support to Team Lead with regular management reporting.
Corporate taxes and statutory reporting:
  • Lead filing of corporate tax, GST filings, and statutory reporting.
  • Lead and facilitate internal and financial statement audits.
Mentoring:
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members.
  • Supervise junior team members to ensure performance and quality of work.

Requirements

  • Minimally 5 to 6 years of experience in accounting, business administration, or finance functions.
  • Relevant education qualification such as a degree or diploma in accounting or finance, or any equivalent qualification.
  • A good attitude towards acquiring new knowledge and self-improvement.
  • An interest in financial advisory industry and investing.
