Job Summary
As a Web & Digital Assets Digital Marketing, Associate Director, this role is responsible for web & digital assets to support marketing campaigns including for web, social media, and display advertising for the Corporate & Investment Bank. The individual will lead the development, design and delivery of assets for our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels owned and paid. You should have a strong grasp of digital content formats and how it can support global business strategy and make recommendations based on insights and campaign performance. This role will need to align and collaborate with global, product and geographic plans across our network in order to drive the most effective outcomes.
Responsibilities
Business
- Working closely with business leads and marketing colleagues to ensure digital marketing is supporting commercial opportunities and effectively position the Bank, our products and capabilities to the clients we serve, and the clients we aspire to bank.
- Develop digital marketing assets that put client data, analytics and insights at the centre, with clear articulation of how marketing is supporting specific business outcomes.
- Share regular updates with senior business stakeholders on marketing campaigns and performance.
- Drive continuous improvement in marketing campaigns - led by creative, innovative ideas and a desire to think outside the box.
Digital Marketing
- Design, develop and deliver digital marketing assets to support the digital marketing strategy, including web, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
- Design, build and maintain our social media and web presence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience across the website.
- Apply agreed digital marketing measurement tools to assess the effectiveness of digital content and provide a basis for informing future marketing decision making. Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
- Identify trends and insights, and optimize assets based on the insights.
- Plan, execute, and measure experiments, brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
- Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
- Deliver and optimize content assets considering SEO and Google Analytics.
- Collaborate with business, product, and marketing teams to develop and deliver web and digital assets for digital marketing activities.
- Partner, brief and manage our key agencies to ensure efficient and effective campaigns.
- Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
- Demonstrate leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire a cross-functional group.

- Liaise with procurement, legal and compliance to ensure contracts, and content processes are aligned with corporate policies and compliance.
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend ways to increase functional effectiveness and improve operational efficiencies.

- Drive impactful engagement between Corporate Affairs, Brand & Marketing teams.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and innovation within the team and across the organisation.
Risk Management
- Ensure adherence to the Risk Management Framework, Group Code of Conduct and various Policies, Procedures, and Guidelines of the Bank.
- Ensure compliance with Third Party Risk Management, and Vendor Engagement and Sponsorship policies.
- Ensure content complies with regional/local legal and regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with the Media, Reputation & Issues team to mitigate any reputational risks possible from digital marketing campaigns, and community initiatives.
Governance
- Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the firm operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
- Ensure adherence to the Operational Risk Framework, Group Code of Conduct and various Policies, Procedures and Guidelines of the Bank by the regional Brand & Marketing teams.
- Maintain high awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the business operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
- Completion of all mandatory training needed including e-learning within stated timeframes to support the understanding of the roles for delivering effective governance.

- 5+ years of experience using web & digital assets to support marketing campaigns including for web, social media, and display advertising for the Corporate & Investment Bank.

- Experience in designing, developing and delivering digital marketing assets to support the digital marketing strategy, including web, email, social media and display advertising campaigns.
