About the job

The candidate for this position shall excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person shall use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, eventually converted to sales opportunities with both new and existing clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new sales opportunities and develop new prospect leads and account relationships to meet sales goals and objectives.
  • Prepare and present proposals to clients and effectively negotiate and close deals.
  • Devise and manage effective sales and marketing plans for targeted services, solutions, and segments.
  • Manage and build strong relationships with banks, merchants, and business partners.
  • Keep up with payment industry trends, product offerings, and best practices in the market.
  • Work closely with senior sales management and overseas team members in new programs and initiatives.
  • Support other related duties assigned as needed.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or related discipline.
  • At least 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in sales in payment, banking, eComm, or IT solutions.
  • General knowledge of financial or payment services and technologies is an advantage.
  • Good network and connections in the merchants, eCommerce, or payment/banking sectors.
  • Strong B2B consultative drive, able to drive revenue and client growth, and maintain long-lasting client relationships.
  • Strong business acumen and innovative with a passion for success in the digital or fintech industry.
  • Able to understand business requirements and formulate service solutions to address client needs.
  • Excellent oral and written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
