Associate Director of Sales (Catering)

Orchard Hotel Singapore, a member of Millennium & Copthorne International - adynamic,global hotel group with properties in major gateway cities and operating more than 160 hotels worldwide, is looking for passionate and service-oriented individuals for the following position:

Associate Director of Sales (Catering)

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, the incumbent shall be responsible to:-

• Plan, organize, implement and execute the sales and marketing plan for the Sales Department;
• Be involved in sales activities in the assigned market and to achieve maximum profitability and revenue growth in line with the hotel’s business objectives;
• Identify and solicit new businesses for catering sales while developing key accounts for business opportunities for the Hotel;
• Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction with accountability and follow up;
• Analyse current / potential market and sales trends and coordinate all activities to maintain and increase revenue and market share
• Assist to guide and mentor the Sales & Marketing team on the performance of the team’s accounts.

Requirements:

• At least 4-5 years of work experience in a similar capacity in the hotel industry.
• Energetic, proactive, self-driven, highly motivated and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Adaptable, determined and be someone who wants to be in a fast paced environment that promotes changes and drive for achievements.
