Description of Azalea

Azalea is focused on the development and innovation of new investment products to broaden investor access to private equity ('PE'). Azalea invests in suitable PE funds and private assets, and structures them into investment products that cater to different investment objectives and risk tolerances of the targeted investors.

One such innovation is the Astrea Platform, a series of investment products based on diversified portfolios of PE funds. It represents a phased approach to develop products for Singapore retail investors to co-invest with Azalea in private equity. Started in 2006, there are six in the series to date, with Astrea 7 being the latest addition to the Astrea Platform. In 2021, Azalea launched Altrium Private Equity Fund II, its second private equity fund-of-funds product, on the back of the success of the inaugural fund, which was launched in 2019.

Job Description

1. Portfolio monitoring: Lead portfolio teams in the collating and analysing information on PE and Venture Capital ('VC') fund investments portfolio.
2. Financial analysis: Lead deal teams in analysis of new primary and secondary PE/VC fund investment as well as direct co-investment deals.
3. Modeling: Applying different modeling techniques to model different product structures as well as PE/VC fund returns.
4. Lead workstreams: For the development and structuring of investment products.

Skills required: Candidate has to be proficient in MS Office products, particularly using Excel for financial modelling and data analysis.
