Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Content Marketing and Digital Campaign professional to join the Communications Team at NUS School of Computing. You will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing content strategies to drive engagement and brand awareness across various digital channels. You will also be responsible for creating and optimizing digital campaigns across various platforms to drive brand visibility and conversions.

Working as a part of the Communications Team, you will enhance our online presence and deliver an exceptional user experience. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling content that resonates with our target audience.

This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to curate compelling content that aligns with the strategic goals of NUS School of Computing.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Content Strategy: Develop and implement content strategies aligned with overall marketing objectives. Conduct research on industry trends, market dynamics, and target audience insights to inform strategy and execution.
  2. Content Creation and Management: Oversee the creation of high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content, including articles, news bytes, videos, and social media posts. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including subject matter experts, to produce compelling content. Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in style, tone, and voice.
  3. Content Distribution and Promotion: Develop and execute content distribution strategies to maximize reach and engagement. Manage social media channels, email campaigns, and other distribution channels to amplify reach.
  4. Campaign Strategy: Develop comprehensive digital marketing strategies aligned with the strategic goals and target audience of NUS School of Computing.
  5. Campaign Execution: Implement and manage digital campaigns across multiple channels, including website, social media, TV Display, and email marketing.
  6. Audience Targeting: Utilize segmentation and targeting techniques to reach relevant audiences and maximize campaign effectiveness.
  7. Collaboration: Collaborate with the broader NUS School of Computing community to integrate content into overall marketing efforts and initiatives.
  8. Stay Updated: Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital marketing to continuously improve campaign strategies and tactics.
  9. Mentorship: Mentor a team of content editors and coordinators to ensure successful execution of content initiatives. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  10. Ad hoc projects: Undertake projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in branding and marketing with a proven track record of creating and executing successful content strategies and digital campaigns.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving ability, with a results-driven mindset.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Familiar with audience targeting and personalized touchpoints related to various outreach programs.
  • Good knowledge of developing messages with unified narratives that differentiate a global educational institution.
  • In-depth knowledge of CMS, email marketing, digital marketing channels, tools, and techniques, including but not limited to social media.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
