In the role of Associate Director, Brand and Content, you’ll be responsible for shaping and executing the brand strategy, content creation, and brand messaging for our company across all customer and employee facing touch points. This role requires a leader with a strong background in brand management and content marketing, capable of being hands-on as well as leading a team and working collaboratively with cross-functional departments to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.

What you will do:

Brand Strategy and Management:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy that aligns with our company’s mission and business objectives based on deep understanding of our ideal customer profile and competitive landscape.
  • Evolve our existing brand messaging in line with the future vision of the company, to re-position the company across all markets in Southeast Asia.
  • Ensure consistency in brand tone, voice, and visual identity across all communication channels.
  • Work in partnership with external agencies as well as local marketing teams to design, develop and deliver brand campaigns that drive brand awareness and customer acquisition.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure relevant teams/stakeholders are kept informed of the brand strategy and plans.
  • Oversee development of brand guidelines, including visual identity, tone of voice, key messaging.

Content Creation:

  • Provide support for the markets on content strategy, planning, and execution to drive engagement, brand awareness, and customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to produce high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, sales enablement material, videos, social media content, and marketing collateral.
  • Develop and manage an editorial calendar, ensuring timely and quality content delivery.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to optimize content performance and engagement.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 3-5 people including designers and content creators, fostering a collaborative and creative work environment.
  • Work closely with the Product, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure cohesive brand messaging and alignment with business goals.

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to stay informed about customer needs and pain points, industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in brand management and content marketing, preferably within the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand and content strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
