Job Overview

We are looking for an Associate Data Analyst (User Growth) to play a key role in supporting our UA (User Acquisition) and Operation teams. This role involves defining and evaluating critical business and game performance metrics, translating raw data into actionable insights that drive improvements across game operations and marketing performance. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including User Acquisition (UA), Design, Operations, and Product to enable data-informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Use complex data analysis techniques to identify trends, provide insights, and deliver strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
• Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across game operations, user engagement, and marketing effectiveness.
• Monitor and analyze game performance metrics such as revenue, retention, and player engagement.
• Evaluate marketing campaign performance across creative, channel, and audience dimensions to optimize UA effectiveness.
• Create, maintain, and optimize automated reporting tools and dashboards to support real-time decision-making.
• Effectively translate complex data analysis into clear and compelling narratives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable analytics projects.
• Work closely with the Data Engineering team to co-develop the ADS (Application Data Service) layer, ensuring smooth data integration and accessibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates and professionals with working experience are welcome.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience in defining and evaluating business metrics for performance tracking.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI) is a plus.
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills and ability to interpret complex data into actionable insights.
• Understanding of mobile game operational metrics, digital marketing metrics and user acquisition strategies is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present data-driven insights effectively.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to speak in Mandarin and English due to the need to speak to stakeholders across the region
