Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Responsibilities

• Solutioning and developing complex, enterprise-transforming applications using Springboot, React
• Hands-on coding using Java springboot to write backend services
• Develop scalable and resilient microservice applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Contributing to the technical design, particularly in domain-driven microservice design
• Collaborate closely with other internal technical teams/business users in investigating, testing and deployments
• Ensures all production changes are made in accordance with life-cycle methodology and risk guidelines
• Application Support, Deployment of Release, patches & fixes on Platform.

Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related fields
• Min 3+ years of hands-on experience in product/application Software development
• Excellent in Springboot microservices, Spring (spring security, spring integration, spring batch, spring data, spring cloud, spring boot), Libraries and Frameworks.
• Working experience with REST API
• Experience with database (MariaDB, mysql, oracle etc)
• Knowledge and experience of private (Openshift and/or PCF (Vmware Tanzu) and/or public cloud architecture and systems
• Good understanding of agile methodologies and experience of working in agile teams
• Good understanding of MQ, Kafka, multi-thread is an advantage
• Experience in CI/CD (Git, Jenkin, SonarQube, NexusIQ), DevOps & Test automation
• Strong ability to take ownership of issues and drives resolution across teams
• Quick learner, self-starter, detailed and thorough
