Business Function
Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Responsibilities
- Financial and Management reporting (expense and headcount)
- Develop good understanding of Expense and Headcount definitions and reporting principles in DBS Bank.
- Exercise tight oversight of Expense and Headcount financials for EASRE Department
- Prepare monthly accruals, DTI cost recovery, financial closure and commentary
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial deliverables.
- Partner and collaborate with Group Finance to establish accurate financial forecasts, and address / reconcile variances.
- Partner with tech team members to conduct due diligence review of vendor contracts, purchase orders and invoice processing
- Annual Budget Planning
- Exercise data management skills via data collation of templates across location teams
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all data points collated from various tech teams
- Understand, review and develop insights of forecast and budget financials submitted.
- Partner with Finance to address reconciliation gaps and provide commentary
- Genesis
- Develop and maintain financial records using Genesis.
- Participate in Genesis UAT
- Reconcile financial and headcount data between various systems including Genesis
Requirements
- Degree holder preferably Accounting or Business Finance trained, with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite (Excel and PowerPoint) and experience with coding will be advantageous.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, committed, and responsible team player.
- Strong interest in dealing with data, analytics and dashboards.
- Strong communicator with good interpersonal skills.
- Eager to learn and able to work under pressure of tight timelines.
