Job Title: Associate Account Manager

The Associate Account Manager will ensure the management and growth of the Health, Nutrition and Care (HNC) business of the assigned customer portfolio. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and contribute to the growth and retention of our customer accounts. The position will support our business in Bangladesh in partnership with another Account Manager. The position reports to the Account Manager, Bangladesh, HNC.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assigned accounts by establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships. Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with internal teams to commercialize these opportunities.
- Back up and support the other Account Manager in the team. Develop and maintain key account plans for assigned customers on an annual basis. Use the CRM system to capture customer projects, visit reports and correspondence.
- Support the project management of new projects and opportunities for key strategic customer accounts. Coordinate pricing with regional commercial team, create quotations and provide approved pricing offers to assigned customers.
- Develop annual pricing contracts and track progress against the contract on a quarterly basis. Obtain accurate customer forecast of future sales and volumes on a monthly basis.
- Deliver prompt and optimal service to customers and address any concerns in partnership with Customer Care and Supply Chain teams. Keep abreast of and share competitor and market activity and highlight potential market opportunities in monthly reporting and internal sales meetings.
- Identify and record any problems relating to products, process and quality system using the Customer Complaints Report (CCR) system and coordinate necessary communications both internally and externally for resolution of issues.
- Always follow safe work practices/rules and practice safe behavior, having regard to own and others safety.
You Bring:
- Educational Background – bachelor’s degree in business, Pharmacy Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
- Industry Experience – 3-7 years of Sales or Account Management experience in the food/nutraceutical/pharma industry, with a strong track record of sales success and a growth mindset.
- Commercial & Analytical Skills – Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop strategic solutions.
- Communication & Collaboration – Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across teams and with customers.
- Problem-Solving & Adaptability – Proven ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations, solve problems efficiently, and work independently in a remote environment.
- Technical Proficiency & Passion – Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams, with SAP experience preferred but not essential. Passion for sales, self-motivation, and the ability to build strong relationships.
