Associate Account Manager - Your future position?

Reporting to: Senior Account Manager

Core Responsibilities

  • Grow Givaudan’s business by managing designated accounts to achieve revenue targets
  • Monitor the Annual Development Plan (ADP) to ensure sales activities are on schedule and meet established success criteria
  • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with customers within your portfolio, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded
  • Keep a close eye on customer and competitor activities, maintaining up-to-date customer information to inform strategic decisions
  • Support the seamless transition of customer projects and new wins from scale-up to production, ensuring a smooth process and customer satisfaction
  • Help negotiate pricing agreements within established guidelines, managing credit, pricing, rebates, and other financial aspects for key accounts
  • Collaborate in developing and delivering compelling internal and customer presentations that communicate Givaudan’s value proposition

Main Requirements

  • Background from Food Science, Chemistry, Biological, Nutrition (or relevant Science fields)
  • 3 to 8 years functional/technical sales experience
  • Ability to develop basic Annual Development Plans for important customers
  • Can identify and articulate value drivers for key customers
  • Experience generating new business, with assistance of experienced account professional
  • Experience with customer strategy, projects, priorities, and launch processes
  • Basic understanding of competitor activities with key customers
