Associate Account Director

Our Associate Account Director is responsible for seamless delivery on a client account including creation and communication of effective creative production solutions, account staffing and oversight of all client relations and presentations, while providing active support and oversight to an Account Service team.

Expectations of an Associate Account Director

• Maintain and grow key client relationships while ensuring quality agency output at a profitable return
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of a large account or several smaller accounts, and overall communication with one or more clients
• A thorough understanding of the client’s business, the marketplace and all aspects of creative production are essential in order to ensure projects are executed and completed effectively
• Management and monitoring of accounts and projects to ensure the project stays on-brief, within budget and is delivered on time
• Partnering with different internal departments and liaising with external partners to ensure all parties are kept informed of the progress of ongoing projects or/and overall business activity
• Able to anticipate and propose solutions to problems and knows when to escalate issues upwards
• Comfortable with detailed budget and financial reporting
• Working with the Managing Director, Operations Director and any Publicis Groupe stakeholder to win new accounts and grow existing ones
• Understand the Groupe’s model and capabilities to develop relevant and innovative solutions to support clients in meeting their business objectives
• Understands targets, and always on a look out for opportunities to cross-sell within the Groupe
• Leads presentations with clients
• Responsible for managing and mentoring the Account Service team
• Set up and lead the implementation of any new process, services or new accounts
• Ensure full compliance with all financial procedures and policies
• Assist with forecasting; manage revenue tracking and monthly financial reconciliation
• Develop and maintain a good understanding of the services within the industry and remain informed of any developments/innovation
• Committed to constantly improving our work, and how we work

Requirements

• Required minimum 7 years experience in an marketing, advertising or production agency
• Good understanding of production processes
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative production environment
• Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills
• Strong financial understanding of budgeting, estimating and agency profitability
• A demonstrated track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently demonstrating sound critical thinking skills and maintaining composure in stressful situations
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of employees and clients
• Highly organized with a keen sense of attention to detail
• Exceptional initiative and follow through skills
