Assistant Warehouse Manager / Up to $5,000 + VB

Job Description:

This is a full time role for an Assistant Warehouse Manager located in Penjuru.

Our company is one of the food product suppliers and you will be involved in developing and optimizing warehouse operations by determining stock handling and storage needs, ensuring FIFO processes, managing equipment utilization, and overseeing logistics. It includes supervising daily activities such as quality assurance, inventory control, space and logistics management, and productivity optimization. The position requires analyzing productivity, implementing plans for peak operational efficiency, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities extend to inspecting and maintaining equipment, coordinating product transportation, managing driver communication, and overseeing imports, trucking, and inspections by SFA. The role also focuses on training and managing the warehouse team, reviewing workflows, ensuring adherence to safety SOPs, and maintaining stock security. Additionally, it involves collaboration with purchasing and sales departments and handling tasks assigned by the Managing Director.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Logistic Management or related discipline
• 5 years in Warehouse Management
• Expertise in Warehouse Management, Logistic, Inventory Control, Fleet Management & Freight Matters
• Understanding of safety regulations and ability to enforce safety standards in the warehouse
• Have knowledge of WMS
