About the Department
Trade Product Management (Transaction Banking) - Trade Finance is responsible for developing new products and solutions, ensuring the competitiveness of existing products, and managing current products to meet client needs.
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Documentary Trade Team Lead, the position will manage the planning and development of Documentary Trade products for Transaction Banking customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Documentary Trade Product P&L and business drivers to achieve product profitability and revenue growth.
- Drive campaign/initiative KPI and commercialization with stakeholders.
- Prepare and present using PowerPoint; possess strong Excel analytic skills to resolve issues related to Documentary Trade products.
- Develop standard product pricing policies and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Prioritize, drive & execute product initiatives to promote customer adoption.
- Monitor evolving banking needs of importers and exporters; perform customer needs analysis and competitive analysis.
- Design sales kits and conduct training programs for sales and customer support.
- Analyze trade, SWIFT, and industry data for management reporting.
- Develop and promote new product capabilities to enhance UOB’s reputation in the Transaction Banking space.
- Manage and drive digitalization using Bank proprietary systems and/or industry-led platforms.
Job Requirements
- At least 10 years of working experience in trade finance product management, especially for Asia.
- Strong trade finance technical and operational experience is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of trade concepts, regulations, product programs, and international practices.
- Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills in English.
- Highly motivated self-starter with strong analytical, interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.
