About the Department
With presence in 18 countries outside Singapore, Group International Management seeks to enable each of the Group's international entities to deliver holistic banking solutions to our target clients. Job Responsibilities
You are responsible for identifying and originating foreign direct investment (FDI) opportunities, primarily for Japanese corporates and FDIs, and translating these opportunities into new business for the Bank. You will develop and engage new and existing partnerships that will generate quality leads and raise market awareness on the Bank's FDI Advisory and its regional banking capabilities. To ensure overall success in delivering the assigned Key Performance Indicators, you need to work closely with business units and regional teams to devise action plans for achieving the targets.
Job Requirements
• Preferably at least 6 years experience in a business development role within a similar industry
• Business acumen to understand the FDI landscape in ASEAN and develop action plans to add value and support foreign investors
• A proven track record in engaging the Japanese business community and ecosystem partners to originate the onboarding of FDIs into ASEAN and/or developing marketing channels for lead generation
• Ability to build rapport and mindshare with both internal and external partners to achieve desired outcomes
• Outcome-focused to translate opportunities into new business
• Write and communicate well in English and Japanese
• Banking experience will be an advantage
