Assistant Senior Firmware Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. Designs, modifies, and implements complex software solutions for functional and system design specifications.
2. Documents design in engineering documents including functional block diagrams and data/logic flow charts.
3. Prepares, reviews, and evaluates system design and interface documentation, specifications, test plans, and procedures.
4. Codes, integrates, tests, debugs, and refines the software to produce according to customer requirements.
5. Maintains and develops software efficiently through familiarity with software lifecycles.

Qualifications:

1. C/C++ programming experience with working knowledge of microcontroller architecture and real-time operating systems.
2. Knowledge/experience with peripheral interfaces & common protocols (I2C, SPI, USB, CAN, UART, PWM, ADC, LIN, I2S, etc.).
3. Able to troubleshoot embedded microcontrollers and use equipment and tools for debugging/analysis.
4. Prior experience with Bluetooth LE audio and/or battery charging-related projects is favourable.
5. Working experience with Embedded Linux can be an advantage.
6. Ability to resolve complex problems quickly and efficiently.
7. Ability to effectively interact with internal and external personnel to understand goals, needs, and preferences.
8. Demonstrates engineering communication expertise including concise written and verbal skills is a must.
