Assistant Sales Manager/ Sales manager

Responsibilities:

1. Preparation of sales quotations, sales follow-up, sales reports, cold callings, customer visits.
2. Identify key customers and establish strong relationships with key personnel.
3. Understand the requirements of each customer.
4. Understand the specific vessel technical specifications to provide a customized equipment package solution.
5. Collaborate with the service team where applicable to offer total solutions to customers.
6. Act as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring good customer service & support. Address any concerns or issues promptly.
7. Monitor market trends and stay updated on industry news and regulations. Understand competitor activities and customer preferences.
8. Proactively engage with customers to build strong relationships and understand their evolving needs.
9. Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and generate leads.
10. Prepare the budget associated with proposals or contract tenders.
11. Negotiate and close sales with customers for complete order processing.
12. Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell across the product range.
13. Monitor sales performance and analyze variances to meet targets.
14. Participate in sales & marketing activities.
15. Assist in resolving payment issues with customers when necessary.
