The incumbent shall thrive as part of the performing sales team and will be responsible to attain the set team/individual sales budget, with revenue from product-based, leasing and/or solutions-based sales.
Possess strong sales management skills including but not limited to tracking and attainment of sales revenue/margin based on forecast, negotiation skills to address all parties’ needs to obtain win-win status, and account servicing skills with return customers/account receivable mindset.
Build and maintain new/existing customer bases through strong market knowledge, strong partnership, and engagement.
Liaise closely with Service Operations teams to ensure reliability, availability & serviceability.
Maintain team-based spirit with continuous market data and customer information exchange among the team to bring strong value to the Organization and Sales Dept.
Experience, Skill and Competency required:
- 3 - 6 years of pre-sales, technical sales, or sales of construction equipment (such as Forklift, Excavator, Drilling Rig, Crawler Cranes) in the construction/engineering industry. Interested applicants who do not possess construction equipment sales background but have the ability to demonstrate the competency to be successful in this role are welcome to apply.
- Candidates with a Diploma in Engineering-related background will have an advantage.
- Entail strong problem-solving mentality to anticipate customers’ enquiries, help them find solutions, and create good value for the business partnership.
- Demonstrate persistency, consistency, and adaptability to strive for success.
- Exhibit good negotiation and communication skills to manage all parties’ interests.
- Possess self-motivation and confidence to excel in various business scenarios.
- With valid Singapore Class 3 driving license.
