Assistant Restaurant Captain
- Understands the company culture and exemplifies the brand style;
- Leads and demonstrates the basics (Smile, greeting, responding, organization, safety, house rules, and others);
- Familiar with the whole floor operation;
- Able to carry out the role of every floor position (Host, server, cashier, and others);
- Effective reporting and discussion with the direct report;
- Always provides a high quality of service and delivers an excellent dining experience to all customers;
- Serves food and drinks as quickly as possible, ensuring all dishes are in the right presentation, temperature, and portion;
- Responds to questions or comments professionally and effectively; reports, discusses or consults with the Outlet Manager directly;
- Ensures drink bar ingredients are kept fresh and follows FEFO (first expired first out) standard;
- Manages all outlet stocks such as drink bar items, disposable items, and others;
- Assists in month-end stock take;
- Ensures outlet (floor and drink bar area) cleanliness and always keeps the outlet in excellent hygiene standards;
- Ensures outlet housekeeping is carried out as scheduled;
- Always ensures team members are following the service manual; follows up with new team members’ progress;
- Understands and supports kitchen operations.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in the service industry;
- Passion for the F&B industry with proven experience in delivering excellent customer experiences;
- Proven experience in leading teams with strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Able to multitask and manage change in a fast-paced environment;
- Willingness to engage in shift work, which includes work on weekends and public holidays.
