Assistant Radio Surveyor (East/ $3.8K) BG (ID: 661203)

Our client, a well-known company, is looking for candidates for the position of Assistant Radio Surveyor.

Responsibilities

1. Assist Radio Surveyor in carrying out VDR/SVDR annual performance tests and statutory safety radio surveys on board ships.
2. Update international convention regulations and International Maritime Organization (IMO) requirements.
3. Maintain survey checklists issued by classification bodies.
4. Identify the nature of the survey and monitor daily statutory survey activities.
5. Prepare survey reports and submit them to the relevant classification authority.
6. Record any non-conformities of equipment in the survey report.
7. Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.
8. Obtain General Operators Certificate (GOC).

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma/Degree in Marine/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
2. Minimum two years of relevant experience.
