Assistant QA Manager (MNC / 5 Days / Up to $5,800 + AWS + Performance Bonus

Job Description

• Position: Assistant QA Manager
• Well Established Japanese Manufacturing MNC
• 5 Days Work Week (8:00am – 5:00pm)
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5,800 + AWS + Performance Bonus
• Working Location: Joo Koon
• Company Transport Provided

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the quality and compliance of company manufacturing processes and products & contributing to the strategic objectives of company quality assurance and control operations.
• Plan, supervise, and execute projects and tasks aligned with management objectives.
• Oversee QS & QM sections, ensuring effective implementation of Quality & Environmental Management Systems (QEMS) and improving product quality and customer satisfaction.
• Perform duties as QEMR to uphold ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949 standards. Establish, implement, and maintain quality and environmental objectives in line with corporate goals.
• Ensure adherence to customer, legal and regulatory requirements. Identify and implement necessary improvements.
• Manage department budgets, manpower planning, and competency development.
• Conduct vendor audits, internal & external ISO audits, and oversee TQC initiatives, F-Cost reduction activities, and QCC projects.
• Establish and monitor key performance metrics, identify and mitigate environmental, safety, and information security risks.
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers on quality and environmental matters.
• Authorize production stops to prevent non-conforming products from reaching customers and ensure effective containment measures.
• Notify relevant authorities of any adverse events or necessary advisory notices as per regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in any Engineering discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance field with knowledge in Plating Process.
• Previous work experience in a managerial role will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and IATF 16949 standards.
• Basic understanding of automotive 5 core tools (APQP, PPAP, MSA, FMEA, SPC) and good working knowledge of Minitab or JMP application will be added advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
