Responsibilities
- Oversee the sourcing and buying strategy to drive sales performance and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Collaborate across business functions to ensure financial targets, sales objectives, and inventory goals are met.
- Monitor and adjust stock replenishments to maintain the right stock balance and minimize inventory risks.
- Analyze market trends and competitive landscape to develop strategic plans that enhance brand positioning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with principals, vendors, and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement processes.
- Evaluate vendor performance and implement a structured vendor grading and development system.
- Identify new supply sources to expand product offerings and improve procurement efficiency.
- Assess customer consumption patterns and adjust product allocations accordingly to optimize inventory turnover.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Merchandising, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement, merchandising, or buying, preferably in sports, golf, or retail industries.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships effectively.
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced retail environment.
