This position is responsible to the Head of Engineering Services for:
- Reviewing and ensuring engineering repair documentation are per approved/ acceptable data & complies with the relevant regulatory and customers' requirements.
- Monitoring and managing engineering resources, capacity and utilization. Work with Head of Engineering Services or other managers to reallocate and adjust depending on operational needs.
- Ensuring turn time of the projects are maintained through an efficient/ competent matter.
- Assessing and improving the competency of the Engineering Service’s staff periodically, and propose means to enhance it when necessary.
- Ensuring work processes are periodically reviewed for improvement.
- Overseeing the communication and/or direct engagement with Aircraft / Engine / Component manufacturers on technical issues.
- Providing technical guidance. Final release of Engineering Note before issued to Production Department.
- Supervise the evaluation of new aircraft test equipment, tooling, and ground support equipment as required.
- Supervise the improvement of production facilities, capability, and process as necessary.
- Supporting the department in achievement of established goals & staff welfare.
- Ensuring smooth running of the department in the absence of Head of Engineering Services.
Job Requirement
- Degree or equivalent certification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of working experience with at least 6 years in Aerospace industry.
- Team player, able to multi-task and handle tight schedule.
- Experience in leading a team.
- Proficient in MS office suites.
