Job description

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage materials planning for all Unitized Materials (UM) in an efficient manner with Production/QA/QC/Logistics departments to meet customer requirements.
  • Responsible for material control and inventory for all ingredients and packaging materials.
  • Lead and drive production planning master schedule to meet orders and delivery.
  • Identify and manage ingredients write-off, inventory holding and work with R&D/various departments to meet cost management targets.
  • Lead and run MRP for ingredients and packaging materials on daily/weekly basis and communicate daily/weekly production, procurement, and delivery plans.
  • Administer document control and ensure compliance to ISO and internal/external audits.
  • Prepare and submit ingredients requisitions.
  • Monitor trends, reports and data (e.g. inventory reports, MRS & MPS) to ensure forward planning and minimum disruption to production and fulfilment of orders.
  • Ensure inventory supports both sales requirements and within the allocated budget.
  • Work with cross functional team to ensure process efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coach and manage the competency development of team members.
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Min. Degree in any field
  • Leadership experience
  • Min. 5 years ofworking experience in supply management, preferably specialize in production/material planning role.
  • Familiar with supply chain operation process
  • Good interpersonal skills and able to withstand pressure.
  • Able to multi-task with sense of urgency.
  • Accountability with collaborative approach to work.
