Job description:

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for day to day on-site project supervision for conversion/repair of commercial/repair vessels.
• Ensure works daily assigned jobs are carried out effectively and productively in order to meet customer specifications and requirements.
• To ensure quality assurance on works completed to achieve delivery deadlines, targets and no safety incidents.
• Accountable for safety for all workers and men under his charge.
• Ensure and enforce safety regulations and requirements are complied with.
• Constantly seek improvement in productivity and processes in the course of work.

Requirements:

• Diploma or NTC in Mechanical or Marine related fields.
• Preferably 3 - 5 years of relevant working experience in the marine industry for piping works onboard marine vessels.
• Possess experience working onboard marine vessels.
• Able to read piping diagrams.
• Understanding of machinery equipment and its functionalities.
• Understanding of marine classification requirements.
• Knowledge on piping material requirements for both repair and new construction.
• Possess man-management experience in workshops and onboard vessels.

Other Information:

• Location: Gul Road (Island-wide transport provided).
• 5 days work week.
• Working Hours: 7.25am to 5.00pm.
