As the Assistant/ Nurse Clinician, you will play a key role in coordinating, supervising, and enhancing the delivery of care for patients, ensuring they receive the best possible clinical outcomes in a supportive and compassionate environment. Additionally, you will lead and supervise a team of nurses, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients, including managing symptoms, monitoring vital signs, and providing pre- and post-treatment support.
Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medication management, side effects, and coping strategies
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
Continuously monitor patients' conditions, record detailed progress notes, and ensure accurate documentation of treatments, observations, and patient responses.
Ensure that all nursing practices comply with the hospital's or healthcare facility's policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to oncology care.
Lead and supervise a team of nurses, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
Possess at least an Advanced Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferably both
At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role in nursing field
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to mentor and motivate nursing staff in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
