Assistant/ Nurse Clinician

As the Assistant/ Nurse Clinician, you will play a key role in coordinating, supervising, and enhancing the delivery of care for patients, ensuring they receive the best possible clinical outcomes in a supportive and compassionate environment. Additionally, you will lead and supervise a team of nurses, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients, including managing symptoms, monitoring vital signs, and providing pre- and post-treatment support.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medication management, side effects, and coping strategies
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
• Continuously monitor patients' conditions, record detailed progress notes, and ensure accurate documentation of treatments, observations, and patient responses.
• Ensure that all nursing practices comply with the hospital's or healthcare facility's policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements related to oncology care.
• Lead and supervise a team of nurses, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Requirements

• Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board
• Possess at least an Advanced Diploma/ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferably both
• At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role in nursing field
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to mentor and motivate nursing staff in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment
