We are looking for an Assistant Manager, Strategy & Project Execution, to join the Strategic Services Office under the Enterprise Business Group (EBG) to drive strategy and project execution. The Assistant Manager, Strategy & Project Execution acts as a bridge between the strategic plan for the Strategic Services service line and the actual implementation of that plan. In this role, you are responsible for translating strategies and key business imperatives into actionable plans and initiatives. You drive and coordinate the execution of these plans and initiatives with the various teams in Strategic Services and the EBG, monitor progress, adapt as needed, and identify and mitigate risks.
Responsibilities
Partner with senior leadership to understand the multi-year vision and execution map for the EBG Strategic Services service line and translate it into actionable project plans and strategic initiatives.
Assist the Vice President of Strategic Services with the preparation of strategy plans, budgeting, analysis and review sessions, and by planning and implementing business execution priorities.
Prepare and analyze financial data and reports used internally by managers to make informed decisions.
Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure strategy delivery and project success.
Develop and present clear, concise, and well-defined project proposals.
Manage all aspects of assigned projects and initiatives, including scope, resource planning, and timeline.
Develop and maintain clear communication plans to keep stakeholders informed of project progress.
Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
Track project performance metrics and report on results.
Identify and implement process improvements for greater efficiency and effectiveness.
Own the outcome. Hold people to account, drive for execution to reach business outcomes and to achieve ambitious growth goals.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a related field, or diploma with equivalent experience.
At least 5 years of experience in a business management role and/or business analyst role.
Some experience in project management / project coordination is expected.
Organized, detail-oriented and possessing strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with an IT, system integrator or telecommunications company is a plus.
Certified associate in project management (CAPM) certification is a plus.
High degree of self-initiative, along with a "roll-up-your-sleeves can-do" attitude.
